This session is intended for inexperienced coaches aiming to understand the basics of Badminton in order to teach the game to novices. It will cover all the basics skills and strategies of the game, enabling coaches to be confident in their session content. It will includes basic rules, shots, grips, drills and introduce group games suitable for large class sessions.
Alex Lane is a former professional English badminton player, 2-time English Senior National Men’s Singles champion, and former top-100 world-ranked singles player. Alex is currently working for Badminton England’s Development Department as Regional Manager for the West Midlands and English National Under 19 Coach & National Badminton Centre Junior Performance Hub Coach.
