Course Description

This course is designed for teachers with limited experience of delivering Tennis sessions, as well as PE teachers looking to refresh and modernise their approach. It provides practical ideas to create engaging lessons that improve student confidence, performance and enjoyment. Delegates will explore modern techniques, innovative practices and effective ways to develop skills with players of all abilities. The course also introduces doubles tactics and strategies for school Tennis, helping teachers to develop a greater understanding of the game. Participants will leave with new ideas, practical resources and the confidence to deliver exciting and effective Tennis sessions.

Meet your course leader, Emma Wells

Head of Coach Education PTR

Emma Wells is the Head of Coach Education for Professional Tennis Registry of the UK: she is the first female to hold this international director position. As an experienced tutor and a trainer for the LTA and PTR, she has worked closely with the LTA in developing the ‘Tennis For Kids’ programme from 2015-18 as well as managing the implementation of other LTA initiatives.

: Cancellations require a minimum of 14 days' notice. Cancelling within 14 days of the event incurs a fee, £30 per person for online courses and webinars, or £100 per person (per day, for multi-day events) for in-person courses. Cancelling within 48 hours of the event is charged at the full price. If ICE Education has to cancel or change a course, we'll try to rebook you onto the same or a similar course, if that's not possible, you'll be refunded in full.

: Recordings of webinars remain available to book attendees for 48 hours after the live session, after which they're no longer accessible.
