Course Description

This afternoon course is aimed at teachers and coaches who are required to umpire school games at U11 to U-15 age groups. It seeks to provide them with knowledge both of the rules and also of their practical application in a school setting. There will be extensive video illustration, to ensure that participants can be confident of their capacity to officiate matches

Meet your course leader, Matt Taylor

MT13

Matt Taylor is the Head Coach of Nottingham University, who won the BUCS championships in 2014-15, 2021-22, 2022-23 and 2023-24. He was previously head coach of Beeston HC in the Men’s Premier Division, winning three championships between 2010-2014. He has also helped developed 80+ junior players gain presentative honours for the National Age Squads as well as having coached 45+ senior Internationals. As a player Matt won seven Championship titles with Cannock HC.

: Cancellations require a minimum of 14 days' notice. Cancelling within 14 days of the event incurs a fee, £30 per person for online courses and webinars, or £100 per person (per day, for multi-day events) for in-person courses. Cancelling within 48 hours of the event is charged at the full price. If ICE Education has to cancel or change a course, we'll try to rebook you onto the same or a similar course, if that's not possible, you'll be refunded in full.
