Course Description

This webinar will illustrate how an athletic development programme can be designed, and integrated into a school, in order that all children can benefit from it, regardless of their sport.  It will provide clear guidance on identifying priorities,  designing and building the programme and measuring its impact.  Drawing on the experience of elite programmes, and highlighting successful initiatives, the session will equip coaches to maximise their impact in the school environment

Nathan Bullock

Meet your course leader, Nathan Bullock

Nathan is a UKSCA accredited coach, alongside a BSc in Applied Sports Science and an MSc in Strength & Conditioning. Nathan’s previous roles include working with athletes at Manchester City Football Club Academy, Calgary Foothills Soccer Club, Welsh Rugby Union, Namibia Rugby Union and Ireland Rugby Football Union, amongst other regional and national level athletes who competed in track and field, swimming and boxing.

In his role at Loughborough University he is Head of Strength & Conditioning where he supports delivery for Lightning Netball, as well as leading the strategic direction for the team of sixteen practitioners. Whilst in his current role he’s been fortunate enough to support NGB’s such as Aquatics GB and England Netball.
