This established course is designed for teachers who are new to teaching Netball in schools, or those looking to refresh their knowledge after a period away from the game. Having supported over 1,000 teachers, it remains one of the country’s leading introductory Netball courses. No previous experience of playing or coaching Netball is required, although a basic understanding of the game is beneficial. The course covers the essential skills and techniques required to teach Netball effectively, including passing, shooting, movement and practical ways to develop these with pupils. Delegates will also explore simple attacking and defensive strategies, a range of drills and practices, and the fundamental rules needed to confidently umpire school matches.
