Head Coach New Zealand
DAME Noeline Taurua is the current Head Coach of the Silver Ferns – the New Zealand national Netball team, and is in her 8th year in this role. In 2026 the Silver Ferns won the Gold medal in the Common Wealth games in Glasgow. In the 2020 New Year Honours, Noeline became only the third Netballer ever to be awarded a Dame Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit (DNZM). In 2019 the Silver Ferns were crowded World Champions for the first time in 16 years. As a player, she played in the 1995 World Cup and 1998 Commonwealth Games for the Silver Ferns.
