The 2010 Commonwealth Games Netball final in New Delhi - New Zealand vs Australia – went to double overtime.   84 minutes.    One of the longest and greatest matches in international netball history. This unique webinar analyses this historical match in fine detail to  explore what technical and tactical changes were implemented by the coaches and why.  This is not just about defence, it is about how teams create clarity, make decisions and execute them under pressure.

Meet your course leader, Noeline Taurua

Head Coach New Zealand

Noeline Taurua is the current Head Coach of the Silver Ferns – the New Zealand national Netball team, and is in her 8th year in this role. In 2019 the Silver Ferns were crowded World Champions for the first time in 16 years. In the 2020 New Year Honours, Noeline became only the third Netballer ever to be awarded a Dame Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit (DNZM). As a player, she played in the 1995 World Cup and 1998 Commonwealth Games for the Silver Ferns.
