The expectations of the Head of Cricket have changed considerably over the last generation. Although the game faces considerable pressures, many of them new, it continues to thrive in environments in which it is well-run. Although numbers participating continue to decline on average, some schools have more players than ever, and greater enthusiasm for the game.
This new seminar is intended for current, and aspiring, Heads of Cricket, who seek to build programmes which can continue to thrive in an era of changing expectations. It will consider the threats faced by the game, with potential responses, and examine the characteristics of successful Cricket provision in the modern age
