Managing difficult conversations well makes an enormous difference both to a Director of Sport's role.  It also helps to create a positive culture around school sport impacting, with pupils, parents and colleagues. Difficult conversations require honesty and tact, but they can be handled with kindness too. When managed well, they can lead to positive and collaborative next steps and increased confidence for all involved.
