It is a time of uncertainty and change for Rugby in the prep schools’ sector. The challenges for schools delivering the game, and winning the confidence of parents, can feel bigger than ever. However, there has never been a greater level of awareness and support for schools, amongst the organisations which support the game in schools.
This is a time in history when the Rugby’s leaders have never worked more closely with the teachers and coaches who deliver the game to young people in schools. The opportunity to provide feedback, and influence future policies, is wider than ever. This Conference will welcome the voice of heads of Rugby. Never has a greater level of training been available, most of it free at the point of delivery. As the recommendations of the Review of Schools’ Rugby are implemented, access to specific, practical support is constantly emerging.
This Conference is presented in partnership with RFU, and includes contributions from its most senior staff. It also enjoys financial support, to enable a heavily discounted price, to make it accessible to more schools. It will also be held in the inspiring location of Twickenham’s pitchside conferencing facilities, reflecting the significance of the event for leaders of the game in all types of schools within the prep sector.
