Des Ryan, Director of Sport and Wellbeing, University of Galway

Des is the Director of Sport and Physical Wellbeing at the University of Galway, leading the strategic development and management of the university's sports programmes. Prior to joining the University, Des worked in Arsenal Academy for 9 years as Head of Athletic Development and Sports Medicine and before that at the Irish RFU in various roles with responsibility for player conditioning.
