Sue Woodroofe

Sue is an experienced Head, having served as Principal of The British School of Brussels and then The Grammar School at Leeds until summer 2025. She was Chair of HMC from 2023-24, Vice Chair from 2024-25 and currently works with several schools and organisations, in the UK and overseas, as a governor and/or educational consultant. In 2025, she was named TES Independent Headteacher of the Year.
