This course is designed for teachers with limited experience of delivering Tennis sessions, as well as PE teachers looking to refresh and modernise their approach. It provides practical ideas to create engaging lessons that improve student confidence, performance and enjoyment. Delegates will explore modern techniques, innovative practices and effective ways to develop skills with players of all abilities. The course also introduces doubles tactics and strategies for school Tennis, helping teachers to develop a greater understanding of the game. Participants will leave with new ideas, practical resources and the confidence to deliver exciting and effective Tennis sessions.

Course Leaders

Emma Wells

Emma is the Head of Coach Education at the Professional Tennis Registry and is the first female ever to hold this international director position. She is an experienced tutor and trainer for the LTA and PTR. She worked closely with the LTA in developing the ‘Tennis For Kids’ programme from 2015-18 as well as managing the implementation of other LTA initiatives. She runs a Tennis Coaching Centre in South West London.
