Stacey Marinkovich is the top Netball coach in the world. As the current Head Coach of the world champions, she is at the forefront of the game’s most innovative strategies. This is a unique opportunity for Netball coaches in the Middle East to learn from current best practice at the very top of the world game.
Stacey will work with local players to demonstrate to coaches the principles, techniques and tactics that are the foundation of the longstanding success of the Australian Diamonds. As the most forward-thinking team in the world, their attention is always on the small details that will make all the difference at the pressure moments. Stacey will show how this intensity can be achieved with school players, and how coaches can maximise the capacity of their teams.

It is a one-off session that will not be repeated, providing teachers and coaches in the UAE with the highest possible level of coach education, and the chance to meet a top-profile leader of the international game.

Practical Session TwoCoaching the ‘What’s Next?’ mindsetEach moment of a game demands that every player has a purpose and a connection with team mates. This requires constant attention to the next phase of play, with a level of concentration and understanding, to anticipate how the game will develop. This vital ability is trainable: this session will illustrate how the top teams develop this mindset throughout their squad.
