This seminar is designed for Directors of Sport working in the Prep sector, as well as teachers aspiring to these leadership roles. It explores the unique opportunities and challenges of leading sport in Prep schools, where the demands of inclusive participation and competitive success must be carefully balanced. Participants will examine practical approaches to planning and delivering a high-quality sports programme, managing limited facilities and resources, and responding effectively to parental expectations. Chris Dossett is the current Chair of the Professional Association of Directors of Sport in Independent Schools (PADSIS), working with schools across the country to stimulate modern, integrated sports programmes. He has over thirty years teaching experience, including Director of Sport posts at Pangbourne College, The Portsmouth Grammar School, Uppingham and Solihull.
