Umpiring School Netball
Face to Face Event
With Karen Greig, Head Coach Manchester Thunder

Dates & Venues
Many teachers of Netball are expected to umpire school matches, often in front of parents who may be quick to judge. This can be a stressful experience for novice or less experienced umpires. Recent rule changes have only added to the challenge. This course is designed to help teachers build confidence in creating a safe and supportive environment for both players and spectators. It will ensure teachers understand the rules, but also in how to manage and score a school match. The course combines classroom learning with practical application and also explores how the rules can be adapted for younger players or lower ability games, ensuring the game flows smoothly while enhancing player enjoyment and development.
