Welcome to the 2025 National Schools’ Netball Coaching Conference. This year offers a unique and exciting combination of content and presenters. It is believed to be the first time that two gold medal winning, world champion, head coaches have combined to present a single programme, anywhere in the world. This is a rare opportunity for teachers leading the game in schools to understand the methods, techniques and tactics of the most successful coaches in the international game. Stacey Marinkovich is head coach of Australia, currently top of the world rankings. She is joined by Tracey Neville MBE, who was head coach of England, when they won the gold medal in the 2018 Commonwealth Games – the country’s greatest ever achievement in the game. Tracey has been in Australia for two years, as head coach of Melbourne Mavericks: this is her first conference since her return.

Conference content will include the most contemporary approaches to coaching both attack and defence, and will demonstrate how these principles can be adopted by school teams. This is a chance for school coaches to ensure that their players can benefit from the highest level of contemporary coaching practice, and be confident that they are keeping abreast of the most recent developments in the game.
